A Day on Venus Is Longer Than a Year on Venus

Venus rotates incredibly slowly on its axis. It takes about 243 Earth days for Venus to complete one rotation, while it takes only about 225 Earth days to orbit the Sun.

That means a single day on Venus is actually longer than an entire Venusian year.

Venus is the only planet in our solar system where a full rotation takes longer than its journey around the Sun.
